Color Outside the Lines
You want more out of your healing space. Traditional therapy is great, talking through what brings you into sessions can be so helpful, but you want more.
You relish other forms of expression and insight that integrate your love of arts, writing, painting, and more. You’re in the right place.
I have been utilizing and integrating expressive and creative arts therapies into my practice for years
Maybe You Are New to This
Don’t worry, there’s no pressure here. Art can be brought in as little or as much as YOU find helpful.
At times I might make suggestions to deepen the connections and insight into what’s happening in the room, but I want you to know that it is up to you how often we use the arts in this space.
Often art can be helpful in creating greater awareness of things that we unconsciously, or even consciously, don’t want to approach in more traditional talk therapy.
Let’s Talk About It
Art can alleviate stress and open up the communication, helping us circumvent the fear of expressing difficult emotions out loud (many times for the first time ever).
If you want to know more about how I use arts in remote therapy with both adults and teens give me a call today.
There is always more to explore, and I would love to hear from you!
